چکیده

Diabetes Mellitus, a highly prevalent and rapidly increasing metabolic disease, can cause several serious complications including visual damage blindness caused by ocular nerve damage. Nerve fiber degeneration might occur because of the accumulation glycation end-products in Descemet’s membrane nerve. The severity corneal diabetic keratopathy be examined through regeneration nerves, specifically GAP-43 TUB33, which are two markers regeneration. WJMSCs (Wharton’s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells) induce its regenerative effects expressing genes that promote neuronal development, inhibiting proliferation pro-inflammatory cytokines, suppressing immune system, most all proliferative capacity. believed to more superior than other sources cells as umbilical cord is easily accessible stored for further usage. Moreover, possess anti-tumorigenic abilities does not any adverse effects. Thus, prospective utilized neuropathy patients bright, but trials still needed solidify efficacy.

The effects of umbilical cord Wharton jelly derived mesenchymal stem cells injection on diabetic wound healing in male rats

Background: The number of patients suffering from diabetic ulcers has been increased in recent years and the current therapies have faced failure. This study aimed to investigate the effects of Wharton’s jelly stem cells (WJMSCs) on the diabetic wound in an animal mode. Methods: During this laboratory experimental study carried out in Skin and Stem Cells Research Center from March 2021 to Nove...

Conditioned medium derived from mesenchymal Stem cells regenerates’ defected articular cartilage

Background & Aims: One of cell- based technical issues associated with cartilage repair assay is delivering cells to the site of the parts where damage is created. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) with their chondrogenic potential are ideal candidates for cartilage regeneration. High expression of cartilage hypertrophy markers by MSCs would result in apoptosis and ossification. This investigation ...

Evaluating the Viability of Adipose Tissue-derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Diabetic Culture Media Model

Introduction: In diabetes mellitus, stem cells are exposed to inappropriate conditions such as an increase of glucose in extracellular space, oxidative stress, and deprivation from growth factors (following ischemia). This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of these conditions on stem cells. Methods: Stem cells were isolated from subcutaneous adipose tissue of rats. The cells were maintaine...

Evaluation of the effect of an intradermal injection of Wharton\'s jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells in diabetic wound healing in animal model

Background: The application of mesenchymal stem cells in the healing of chronic wounds is one of the most challenging issues in cell therapy. The present study investigated the efficacy of intradermal injection of umbilical cord Wharton's Jelly-derived mesenchymal stem cells in diabetic wound healing using ultrasound imaging in an animal model. Methods: During this experimental laboratory stud...
